This story reminds me of the movie 'Life' starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence.

Though the movie was a comedy, there were numerous moments where Eddie Murphy's character, Ray Gibson, reminisced on the importance and sentimental value of a fancy pocket watch his father gave him before he died.

In this case nothing is funny about a bike belonging to a young man who died tragically, and the family wanting it back.

Matthew Natal died after being swept in a culvert in Nolanville back in June 2015.

Almost a year later, an unidentified man was spotted riding Natal's stolen bike and now his family is offering a $1,000 reward for its return.

If you have any information, contact the Bell County Communication Center at (254) 933-5500 or the Harker Heights Police Department at (254) 699-7600.

UPDATE: Authorities have reported that the bike has been found and returned to the family.
