Police in Belton are searching for multiple suspects after a convenience store was robbed late Tuesday night.

The robbery occurred at Longhorn Grocery, 2218 Holland Rd, around 11 PM.

In a press release, Belton PD Public Information Officer Paul Romer described the suspects as black males and said one of the men fired a shot during the robbery, but no injuries were reported.

Romer said police believe the crime may be related to other recent robberies in Central Texas and asked anyone with information to contact the Belton Police Dept. at 54-933-5840 or via text to 254-217-6764.

The crime is similar to another robbery that took place at a Nolanville Cefco location Tuesday night. In that robbery, three men entered the store's Subway and robbed a pregnant employee. A shot was also fired in that incident. No injuries were reported.
