Belton Student With Down Syndrome Makes A Homecoming Touchdown (Video Inside)

Friday nights in Texas are major but for one student in Central Texas this was a night to remember.

Tannor Yearwood a senior on the Belton High school football team scored his first touchdown Friday night at the Belton vs. Harker Heights game.

Tannor was diagnosed with Down Syndrome but has never let that stop him. He's been actively involved in Football since middle school. So you could only imagine how much this experience meant to him.

He took the field on Friday, in an extra play before half time and scored a touchdown! It wasn't just any touch down either, this spectacular moment occurred during Belton's Homecoming game!! The crowd went wild, his team mates lifted him up in the air and the band played the fight song!
