The City of Belton and the staff at Lena Armstrong Public Library could use your help as they decide the future of the library and the programs it offers.

A 12-question survey that should only take about 5 minutes is now online. City and library officials hope people of all ages and demographics will take the time to fill it out and make their voices heard.

"We're in the processing of planning for the future growth of the library," Library Director Kim Kroll said. "We want to know what the citizens of Belton want and need in a library."

Questions cover a variety of topics including the services that should be considered and hours of operation. Officials need feedback from a range of people, so teens, young adults, middle-age, and retired people are encouraged to take it. Even if you don't live in Belton but make use of the library, they want to hear from you.

The survey was developed at the recommendation of Library Systems & Services, which completed an assessment of the library in July, and will remain open through September.
