Beyonce’s surprise performance at the 50th annual Country Music Awards was celebrated on Twitter among her Beyhive, but unfortunately it’s been overshadowed by racist attacks from angry fans.

On Wednesday night (Nov. 2), Beyonce was able to bring the Dixie Chicks to the CMA stage for a special performance of the Lemonade track, “Daddy Lessons.” It was one of the biggest highlights at the awards ceremony.

However, the Country Music Association’s website, Facebook and Twitter account have all but refused to post any videos, images or any content of the performance. In fact, by Thursday afternoon (Nov. 3), there's still wasn't any images of Beyonce or videos or promotion of the performance on CMAs website, according to Elle.

TMZ reports that the decision to remove Beyonce’s performance is in response to comments from racist fans. Apparently, CMAs officials were concerned by the harsh remarks by fans who felt that Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks shouldn't been at the show because they are "anti-police" and "anti-America."

"@Beyonce the cop hater? No thanks," and, "What place does @Beyonce who vilifies police officers who keep us safe have to do with #CMAawards50?" one fan allegedly wrote on the CMAs Facebook page.

TMZ adds that the CMA officials allegedly want the hate to go away and feel it was a mistake to invite Beyonce and Dixie Chicks to their show in the first place.

In response to the vitriol, the Dixie Chicks tweeted a link to the studio-recorded version of "Daddy Lessons" they and Beyonce released after the show. Read their tweet below.
