BlocBoy JB appears to have some new music up his sleeves. After teasing a video for an animated series, the 2018 XXL Freshman now shares a snippet of another new song. In the 40-second clip which was uploaded to Twitter on July 18, BlocBoy can be seen rapping in the studio.

"Yeah, that was me/I'm the nigga fresh as fuck could kill you for a fee/I got put in the stripe, they call be Bloc the referee/I got put in this felony, they go from A to beef/Let me go from A to Z/I was robbin' niggas, 'ya was goin' trick or treat/I be fuckin' bitches, 'ya the type to trick and treat/Yeah, that was me," he spits.

No further information about the track was revealed but the rapper did say the song is on its way. "New Shit Otw🍇🔥," he tweeted.

Since the release of his Simi mixtape in May, BlocBoy JB has remained busy, dropping a video for "Woah" and teaming up with Cuban Doll and Sukihana for the "Drug Dealer" visuals.

XXL recently caught up with Memphis rapper for a Freshman interview and spoke with him about his surprising rise to fame. "It happened like a lottery ticket. It’s cool. I just gotta cash in. It’s an honor because it’s only 10," he said. "It’s a lot of people that… you look at that list, it’s a lot of people that would just kill for that spot but I got it."
