MTV is kicking off the 2017 Video Music Awards with a pre-show concert to be broadcast live and simulcast on MTV.com and Twitter.

Cardi B, Khalid, and Bleachers are due to start performing at 6 p.m. ET, two hours before the VMA's start at 8 p.m.  Cardi, who has gone from Bronx stripper to reality star, to Atlantic Records-signed rapper is currently celebrating the No. 3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for "Bodak Yello" and just released a Latin version of the mega-hit.  Fans have deemed Cardi's song the hit of the summer as they recite every word to the bossy bars on social media, including stars like Kevin Hart and Ludacris.

Bleachers is set to perform their track “Don’t Take the Money,” while Khalid will sing a stream of hits like “Location" and “Young Dumb & Broke”.  Lil Yachty will co-host the pre-show with Charlamagne Tha God, Gaby Wilson, and Terrence J.

Kendrick Lamar, Gucci Mane and The Weeknd are on the bill for the primetime broadcast. The performance will take place outdoors and live at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

Cardi took to Instagram to celebrate two top 10 chart spots in two different languages:
