Central Texas guy TRIED to run from the cops…. and then his brakes went

It just wasn't that serious...

A guy who had 2 outstanding traffic tickets led police on a chase.

You figure if you are going to run from the cops and risk it all it should be a high speed chase right and your car should be in tip top shape right?

Nah....

The suspect led police on a chase at speeds between 30 and 40 miles per hour then his brakes went out lol!

Reportedly his brakes were glowing and were smoking but didn't catch fire.

Didn't think that all the way out did he?

In addition to having to deal with the outstanding tickets he now has an evading arrest charge to deal with as was taken into custody to Mclennan County Jail.

He won't get a speeding ticket though....
