It's Christmas time and if you're fortunate enough to have a fireplace (or fire pit), there's no reason to pass on free firewood so you can sip on your eggnog, listening to the roaring fire and crackling of twigs.

I've been searching for a local Christmas lights show for a couple weeks and to think, all I had to do was go on Craigslist. A family posted that for the last three years they've been putting on a 70,000 light display in their front yard for everyone to enjoy. They run it from 6-10 p.m. between December 18 to January 10, 2016 and each show lasts about 20 minutes. Unless it is raining, of course. They ask to please be considerate of neighbors.

A free piano that is over 100 years old. It's at least worth checking out if you have an aspiring musician in the family. I once grabbed a piano from Craigslist - bring your strongest friends to help you to move it. Your back will thank you for it.
