CTX Participated In Drug Take Back Day

Central Texas local police teamed up with the community for drug take-back day!

The DEA suggests that people should flush or throw away prescription drugs that are left lying around the house but according to research it's dangerous for communities, so local departments set up drop off boxes to dispose of the extra.

This was not the first time that Central Texas participated in Drug Take-Back Day and each time the participation grows!

The take back initiative only accepts pills and patches that are expired or unused; no needles or inhalers were taken.
