Vogue released a new video giving viewers a glimpse at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award, which is one of the most influential prizes in the fashion industry. Contestants get to display skills in front of some of the biggest names in fashion, and Desiigner got to be involved in the process. The Brooklyn rapper served as a model for one contest before performing an acapella version of "Timmy Turner" for Vogue's Anna Wintour.

Desiigner's performance is a throwback to his freestyle at the 2016 XXL Freshman cover shoot, which blew up online. On that day, the young artist spoke about the encouragement he's received from G.O.O.D. music since the release of "Panda."

"'Panda' going No. 1, is a blessing," he told XXL. "I knew it was going to get there now it’s time to put down more music and deliver for the fans, just give them more. I don’t make music for the time. I make music for the century so I knew it ['Panda'] was going to go. Kanye West and Pusha T, they go crazy all the time. They tell me, ‘Keep doing your thing. You know G.O.O.D. Music got this. You got a number No. 1.’ There’s just good vibes with them all the time when I talk to them about working and my career."

Desiigner has been making moves ever since, including drawing huge crowds for a meet and greet. Desiigner may not have won over Philly fans, but he's got plenty of support across the country.
