Dr. Dre Dropping New Album August 7th

Its been over 16 years since we last heard new music from Dr. Dre, but the wait is finally over. One of hip hop's most sought after producers will be dropping his new album "Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre" on August 7th, and you can pre-order the album now on iTunes!

As for what happened to the "unicorn" called "Detox"? Dre said on his radio show "I didn't like it, The record, it just wasn't good...I just wasn’t feeling it.". Widely known as a perfectionist, its easy to understand why the good doctor didn't want to drop it, but we're definitely looking forward to this new album!
