If you're trying to convince a police officer that you're not drunk during a sobriety test, a spontaneous dance probably ain't the way to do it.

That didn't stop 51-year-old Manuel Luna-Comancho from trying it when he was pulled over in South Austin early Monday morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

KVUE-TV reports that Comancho was stopped around 12:30 AM Monday after an officer saw him swerving in and out of his lane on Ben White Boulevard.

Comancho reportedly had trouble standing steady while he and the officer spoke. When the officer asked him do a "walk and turn test," Comanco decided it was time to do the Texas two-step, which he did for about 25 paces before finishing with a flourishing jump.

Needless to say, Comancho was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Now, I'm not usually one for conspiracy theories, but hear me out here. In Mike Judge's 2006 film 'Idiocracy', the President of a dystopian United States inhabited by mouth-breathing simpletons with room temperature IQ's is named Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho.

If Judge's film is, as some claim, prophetic, could Mr. Luna-Camacho be the great, great grandfather of a future President? Just something to think about.
