Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert are getting a divorce and the matriarch of the Braxton family is speaking out.

In an interview with TMZ, Evelyn Braxton fears that Vincent might kill Tamar. She warns the manager-producer to stay away from her daughter. Apparently, Evelyn is really concerned that their divorce will get really messy.

"I only have one thing to say to Vince, keep his hands off of my child," she said. "Stop before he hurts her or kills her."

As we reported earlier, Tamar is seeking full custody of their 4-year-old son and she also wants one big-ticket item in the separation— their mansion in Calabasas, Calif. The R&B singer also requested that Vincent gets no spousal support.

In a statement, Tamar's rep said the singer made an “extremely difficult decision” in filing for divorce and asked that everyone respect their privacy at this difficult time. "She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers," said the rep.

Tamar Braxton's rep had no comment on Evelyn's remarks about Vincent Herbert.
