Police Chief Joel Fitzgerald, Mayor Betsy Price, and a handful of elected officials spoke out about the actions of officers in the video, according to KCEN</em>. THe Chief said he was "disappointed" by the officers actions.

The cell phone video was taken by Brea Hymond after her mother, Jacqueline Craig, called police to report her 7-year-old son had allegedly been choked by a neighbor for what he believed was littering.

The officer asks, "Why don't you teach your son not to litter?" Jacqueline tells the officer, "It doesn't matter if he did or didn't. It doesn't give him the right to put his hands on him." The officer answers, "Why not?" The video shows how the officers took things way too far and escalated the argument. State Representative Nicole Collier said “I was outraged by what I saw on the video.” The family's attorney said the family temporarily moved out of their Fort Worth home, due to people harassing them.
