A French court has ruled in favor of a woman seeking a monthly disability allowance because she's allergic to Wi-fi signals.

The 39-year-old woman will receive over $750 dollars a month after she and her legal team convinced a Marseilles court that she suffers from a condition known as electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS). EHS has not been substantiated by medical experts, but sufferers claim they have severe reactions to radios, cell phones, and televisions.

The woman told the court she's been forced to move into a barn with no electricity as a result of her condition. Other sufferers have established "radiation-free" colonies in rural areas, and may someday demand disability benefits after the legal precedent set by this case.
