Get ready for the annual Easter Eggstravaganza in Killeen!!

THe Easter Eggstravaganza is scheduled Saturday, April 15, starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Killeen Community Center. Bring your kids out to enjoy Easter egg hunting, bouncies, games, arts and crafts and more free activities. The Easter Bunny will be available throughout the event for photos. According to a press release from the City of Killeen, "children can fill their baskets with treat-filled eggs that will be scattered on the baseball fields behind the Community Center."

Hunts will be conducted by age group:

4:00 p.m. All Ages Adaptive Field #3
4:45 p.m. ages 0-3 years Field #2
5:30 p.m. ages 4-5 years Field #1
6:15 p.m. ages 6-8 years Field #3
Dusk ages 9-12 years Field #5

If you plan on attending, you need to register in advance because space is limited. Registration for the Adaptive Hunt and ages zero through 8 is free. The flashlight hunt is $5 and your child mus bring their own flashlights and baskets. There will also be an indoor movie at 6:30 p.m. You can register at the Family Recreation Center at 1700 E.
