Harker Heights Police Searching For Assault Suspect

Harker Heights police are looking for an assault suspect!

A man allegedly attacked another man with a baseball bat at the Cheddar's in Harker Heights at 201 East Central Texas Expressway, according to KWTX. The incident happened early Thursday afternoon. The suspect also allegedly threatened the victim with a gun. Police said it was a family dispute that carried over from an earlier argument. The suspect walked in looking for the group of people and then proceeded to hit the victim in the face with the bat. The attacker was trying to hit the victim again, when the man grabbed the bat. That's when the suspect threatened the man with a handgun!
