Remember that stupid dress meme from a while back? You know, is it white and gold or blue and black?

Well, the internet is at it again, and this time it's an audio clip in question. The person speaking clearly says "Laurel", but some people swear they're hearing "Yanny".

Or maybe I'm just wired differently? No, no...it's the children who are wrong.

Give it a listen and let us know what you hear. (If you say "Yanny", you're a lying liar who lies!)

Okay, okay. I'm sorry. I take back the lying liar comment. If this article from The Independent is accurate, then the robot voice is saying both Laurel and Yanny, and you're more inclined to hear Yanny (which is said at a higher pitch) if you're young.   It's also a matter of what you want to hear. Much like those Magic Eye brain busting posters from the 90s, you can supposedly make yourself hear Laurel, Yanny, or both if you try hard enough. You can also cheat and manipulate the pitch and volume.
