Kanye West will star in the fall/winter 2016 campaign for Balmain. This is Ye's second campaign with the line, though this go-around he's featured alongside model Joan Smalls instead of his wife, Kim Kardashian. According to Complex, he's starring in an ad wearing a version of the custom beaded jacket he wore to the Met Gala earlier this year.

The campaign is shot by legendary fashion photographer Steven Klein, and is about "music fashion fusion." Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing and West have been fans of another's work for a long time—'Ye is often spotted in Balmain and in the designer has called the Chicago rapper a "God."

'Ye has undoubtedly already had a busy summer. He appeared on a recent track with Gucci Mane as one of only two features on GuWop's much-hyped new album, Everybody Looking. Kanye is also set to appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming flick, The Land, which is produced by Nas.

On the fashion front, the 39 year-old recently announced plans to continue his partnership with Adidas. The union, which was formed in 2015, will expand from just sneakers to clothes and accessories in a line dubbed “adidas + KANYE WEST." The collab is breaking records as the biggest partnership Adidas has ever launched with a non-athlete. The sportswear brand is also slated to open special retail stores in conjunction with Yeezy.

Check out a short clip of one of the new Balmain ads, though it doesn't feature Kanye.
