UPDATE: Killeen Sailor Confirmed Among Bodies Found in U.S.S John Mccain Tragedy

Last week, sailors from a crash between the U.S.S. John Mccain and an oil tanker in Singapore left one sailor dead, and 10 others missing.

Sunday, the missing 10 bodies have been discovered.

Among the sailors found was John Henry Hoagland III a 20-year-old Electronics Technician who grew up in Cleveland, Texas near Houston.

Hoagland graduated from Shoemaker High School in Killeen in 2015 and enlisted in the Navy.

He served aboard the U.S.S. John Mccain since October of last year.

Reportedly, the collision tore a hole in the ship and flooded communication rooms and machinery.

Navy and Marine Corp Divers searched the ship after it docked in Singapore earlier this week.
