It's time to get into the holiday spirit! This Friday, you can enjoy Killeen's annual tree lighting event!

Bring your family out to the Killeen Community Center at 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd for its annual tree lighting! The event is free and open to the public! Santa Claus will be there at 6 p.m. to light the 50-foot tree and pose for photos until 8 p.m., according to the Killeen Daily Herald!

The family friendly event will feature a petting zoo, live entertainment, arts and crafts, a game truck, an art bus and more! There will also be a free movie screening of Elf starting at 8 pm at the Amphitheater, with free cookies and cocoa! It's the perfect night to kick off the holiday season!
