2 Deaths In 3 Days- CTX Local High School Can’t Catch A Break
It has been a very rough three days for a high school in Central Texas. Students and staff of Belton High are grieving the loss of two students, one of whom was a graduating senior.
Sophomore, Alexander “AJ” Howard a member of the schools Band, was driving on Highway 317 in Temple when he tried to get over in a no passing zone and ended up crashing the car.
Senior, Andres Martinez-Bazan, was swimming with classmates on Monday at Temple Lake Park when he went under and did not resurface, it was at 3:15pm when his body was discovered.
According to close sources both boys were very active in school. The school and additional counselors have been actively helping the kids mourn the death of their friends by encouraging students to speak on the wonderful memories that they created with both guys.
As the community mourns over the lost of two young lives we ask everyone to send prayers and encouraging words.
