Location of Mother of 2 year old child found wandering in Temple unknown

KWKT reports that a 2-year-old child was spotted wandering in the street by a woman smoking outside of Bill's Grill on South First Street in Temple, around 3:30 AM. Police placed the child in Child Protective Services custody while they worked to determine who the child's mother or father or might be.

Shortly after 10 am, a woman called Temple Police, reported a missing child, saying she left her child with "three grown adults" while she visited a restaurant.  The woman who reportedly has an outstanding warrant in Bell County never showed up to meet with CPS officials.
