Man Records Emotional Ceremony of Fallen Copperas Cove Soldier at Austin Airport

A man aboard a flight from Dallas to Austin recorded an intensely emotional scene that really puts Memorial Day into perspective.

According to Fred Sander's Facebook post, he was on a plane carrying a fallen service member and his family. Upon landing, an announcement was made, and the soldier's family deplaned first. They were met by a military escort, and Sanders reported seeing former service members aboard the plane saluting.

Rest In Peace to fallen soldier Mark Campbell from Copperas Cove, and thank you to all who have served and are serving. Below is some footage from Fred's Facebook page. Fred posted a link to a memorial fund for Campbell in the comments section. Proceeds from the fund will benefit Campbell's family as they mourn his loss.
