Mariah Carey has reportedly made a major business move, signing to JAY-Z's Roc Nation after firing her former manager.

Page Six reports that Mariah is making serious moves after firing her former manager Stella Bulochnikov earlier this month.

“[Mariah’s] cleaning house. She is getting legitimate people, assistants, a lawyer, and Stella is not happy about it,” an "insider" reportedly told the publication.

Although there were previously reports that her boyfriend, Brian Tanaka, had taken over as her manager, he is reportedly her creative director.

“Previously, there were all kinds of people involved [in her career] and Mariah didn’t even know those people," the insider told Page Six. "She had to distance herself from all that and she’s now cleaning house."

The news of Mariah signing with Roc Nation comes only a couple of weeks after it was announced that she is among the nominees for the 2018 Songwriters Hall of Fame. Also on the list are legendary West Coast rap group N.W.A, singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman and R&B/soul groups the Isley Brothers and Kool & the Gang. Other non-performing nominees include former New Edition producer Maurice Starr and Jermaine Dupri, who co-wrote some of Carey’s chart-topping hits.
