Police Chase In Central Texas Ends With Death Of Motorcyclist

For some reason there have been quite a few police chases in Central Texas recently. This latest in Killeen ended with the death or a Fort Hood motorcyclist.

Fort Hood soldier, 20-year-old Stacy Hardy, died in the incident. Hardy was involved in a police chase Friday night. He was on a motorcycle going towards W.S. Young Drive, when officers attempted to pull him over for speeding, according to KXXV. He was allegedly driving at speeds over 100 mph while fleeing from police. He hit a van and was thrown from his bike. He died at the hospital.
