Police on are on the hunt for a man who robbed a local bank Tuesday morning.

KWTX reports that the suspect may be responsible for another bank robbery that took place last month.

The man walked into the First National Bank at the H-E-B- store located at 601 Indian Trail just after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and gave the a teller a note demanding money.

The man escaped in a white 2016 Hyundai Elantra with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as an African American male who looks like he may be in his late 20s or early 30s. He has a medium build and stands between 5'8" 5'10".

Authorities believe he may be connected with a robbery on April 5th  at the First National Bank on Elms Road in Killeen. Investigators are asking anyone with details on either of these robberies to call the Harker Heights Police Department at (254) 953-5400 or Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
