Belton School Pulls 9-Year-Old Black Girl out of Class Because of Hair
How would you feel if your 9 year-old daughter came home crying to you saying 'no one wants to be her friend now because her hair was not as pretty as the assistant principals'.
That's what happened last week, with Marian Reed as she explained what happened after receiving a call that her daughter's hair was out of compliance with the school dress code.Officials in the district were notified and said they were 'enforcing the dress code and being consistent'.
