Roughly 24 hours after getting robbed at gunpoint, Safaree Samuels’ armed robbery suspects have been arrested.

Sources at the NYPD told TMZ that two men have been arrested in connection to the case on Monday (April 2).

According to the insider, police had to pursue the suspects in a car chase over the George Washington Bridge from New Jersey into New York. The suspects then crashed their vehicle and fled on foot. Police eventually apprehended the two men who are identified as Jonthan Ricketts and Shawn Harewood and placed them in custody.

Apparently, the alleged robbery happened in Fort Lee, N.J., and police were already in hot pursuit of the suspects.

As we previously reported, a visibly shaken Samuels appeared on Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez Show and revealed that he was robbed at gunpoint.

“A couple of hours ago, I just got robbed," he said. "Two dudes with guns just ran up on me, me face down on the floor with a gun to my head. They just took everything."

Samuels can rest easy now that the suspects are in custody. Salute to the police for capturing the alleged criminals so quickly.

Reps for Safaree Samuels had no comment on the matter.
