The lighting event is happening at the Killeen Community Center, 2201 East Veterans Memorial Blvd. Santa will arrive at 6 PM to light the 50-food silhouette tree, then stick around to pose for photos and listen to children's Christmas wishes until 8 PM.

There's a free screening of Elf at the amphitheater starting at 8 PM with free cookies and hot cocoa. Bring a chair if you'd like, and don't forget a blanket!
