Some kids at Palo Alto elementary school in Killeen were kicked off the football team last week after officials from the school district claim a number of penalties from referees and other damaging behavior occurred at a game.

Bad sportsmanship and verbally abusive behavior are also reasons players and the coach were suspended.

Reportedly players on the football team from Palo Alto Middle School in Killeen were suspended and thrown off the team. A statement from Superintendent John Craft was released to our news partner, KWTX:

"The Superintendent has made clear that this type of behavior has no place in our schools and that he had better not hear of anything like this ever happening again" is what a statement read by Terry Abbott, Chief Communications Officer from KISD.
