A Wednesday night shooting in Killeen left one victim severely injured and police searching for answers.

Officers responded to a 911 call from the 1000 block of North 12th Street just before 10:30 PM Wednesday. The caller reported shots fired in the area.

When police arrived, they found a 33-year-old victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Temple's Baylor Scott & White Hospital in serious condition.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-8477 or bellcountycrimestoppers.com. Information may also be sent via the P3Tips mobile app. Crime Stoppers will not ask for you identity, and information leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
