Since 1932, Black Friday has been regarded as the official start of the Christmas shopping season and it has been the busiest shopping day since 2005. Originally merchants would open very early the Friday after Thanksgiving Day and offer unbelievable discounts on popular Christmas list items. As we all know, Black Friday has now grown into a 4-day weekend filled with over-aggressive have-to-have-it-right-now shoppers.
