T.I. reportedly has over 100 songs recorded for his Dime Trap album, but has taken a detour of sorts due to the recent injustices taking place in the United States. As a result, his Us or Else EP drops today, streaming exclusively through Tidal. Subscribers and non-subscribers alike can listen below.

In a recent appearance on The Daily Show, T.I. explained to host Trevor Noah how the project came about. “Over the summer, all of the travesties that took place in this country, I felt compelled to say something, do something," he said. "Out of a lack of other things to do, I just took to the studio and started speaking my mind. And it became a project out of nowhere. I just really want to create dialogue that will promote change.”

The six-track EP features Quavo, Killer Mike, Big K.R.I.T. and more, with the lead single "Warzone" receiving a video treatment earlier this month. T.I. said of the video, which reverses the roles of race within the country, “As disturbing as these images may be to watch on your television, just remember, these are fictional. These things actually happened to people. These same events took the lives of fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, sisters. These things actually happened to us. As disturbing it may be for you to watch it on television, imagine how uncomfortable it is for us to live through it in reality.”
