Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' song 'Same Love' is nominated for the 2014 Grammy for Song of the Year. It is a powerful and watershed track, since it's about equality for same-sex unions. The rappers are putting their money where their mouths are, since 34 couples are slated to marry during their performance of the song at this year's Grammys (Jan. 26).

Despite his seven nominations this year, Macklemore was almost omitted from the rap categories at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, according to a rumor published by New York Magazine.
