The incident happened in Pittsburgh. The child's mother, 29-year-old Dai’Shonta Williams, is facing charges in connection with the attack on the brick, according to KXXV. The teacher, Janice Watkins, took the phone away from the 4th grade girl because the school district has policy against having cell phones in class. The girl's mother was called to the school. During the meeting, the girl claimed that Watkins choked her. He mother then allegedly said she was “going to get even.”

While Watkins was driving home, she was stopped in traffic and attacked by a black male and Williams, who used a brick to knock out Watkins window. Watkins says she was hit by the brick, then dragged into the road, where she was attacked by Watkins. Police arrested Williams, and charged her with three counts of aggravated assault and one count each of terroristic threats, stalking and reckless endangerment. The victim is having severe headaches, lost a tooth and was treated for facial injuries.
