Temple H-E-B Employee Assaulted While At Work

Temple police officers are investigating after an H-E-B employee was assaulted on Labor Day.

So get this, allegedly a man attempted to walk out of the store with a 24 pack of Budweiser without paying. An H-E-B employee attempted to stop the man and also proceeded to reach the police. The suspect noticed that the H-E-B worker was taking down his license plate number and to prevent him getting caught he smacked the employee and took off on the wrong side of traffic.

As of now the police have yet to catch the man but they do have leads that could result in an arrest.
