Temple’s Police Department Participating in “Take Back” Campaign This Saturday!

The Temple Police Department will participate in the Drug Enforcement Agency's "Take Back" Campaign this Saturday at the Temple Police Department lobby at 209 East Avenue A.

The Police Department's Lobby will still be open during Bloomin Temple Festival, so drop off old, unused, and unwanted prescription medication to police officers with no questions asked.

People wishing to bring in medication are being asked to leave them in their original containers.

The event is only intended for residents and not equipped for bulk disposals and they cannot receive syringes.
