A dog caught up on a high speed chase Friday was safely reunited with her human.

No, the dog wasn't driving.

KTVT-TV reports that a suspect pulled a man out of his truck at a Grand Prairie scrapyard Friday morning and led police on a chase in the stolen vehicle.

The suspect, 20-year-old Joshua Aguilera, and the truck's owner had a physical confrontation before Aguilera reportedly stole the truck and tried to run over the owner. Police spotted the truck as it was speeding away from the scrapyard and gave chase.

That chase ended in Corinth, where Aguilera was arrested after the vehicle was disabled. He's been charged with aggravated robbery and evading in a vehicle.

A cute little dog named Mia was in the truck when it was stolen. Fortunately, she wasn't harmed.

KXAS-TV scored an interview with the carjacking victim and Mia shortly after their reunion.
