Texas lawmakers want to designate an official state weapon! Do you agree with this weapon or think it should be something else?

A resolution to designate the cannon as the official state gun has passed through a senate committee hearing which is the first step toward it becoming a law, according to The Guardian! There is competition though, another proposal in the current legislative session is calling for the 1847 Colt Walker pistol to become the official handgun of Texas. But wait, that's not the only option lol, another suggests the Bowie knife to be the official state knife.
