Roy Oliver, of Balch Springs, Texas, has been terminated from the police department there for violating department policies in the shooting death, according to KXXV. Oliver shot high school freshman Jordan Edwards, to death, while he was leaving a party with four other teenagers Saturday night. The case is being investigated by the Dallas County district attorney and the Dallas County sheriff's office. Police changed their story, initially stating that the teenagers' vehicle was reversing "in an aggressive manner" toward officers, but later said that the vehicle was actually driving away, according to a video taken at the scene. The Dallas County medical examiner ruled his death a homicide, according to KXXV.
