The Medina Independent School District has a warning sign for anyone who may be planning on causing harm to the students! The sign warns that staff members "may be armed," according to WGRZ! The sign says, “Attention. Please be aware that the staff at Medina ISD may be armed and will use whatever force is necessary to protect our students." The superintendent, Penny White, stands by the sign and wants to to make anyone considering harming the students to "think twice." White says, “I have not had one negative comment!”

As a parent, how would you feel about not only the sign, but the thought that you child's teacher may have a gun? Does it make you feel more secure, like your child is protected and safer or do you feel like it could put your child in harm's way?
