With electric performances and Juelz Santana's memorable proposal to Kimbella, the Apollo Theater stop of The Diplomats' Gentrification Tour gave fans everything they were looking for and then some. Unfortunately, though, their performance also ruffled the feathers of an array of military veterans.

According to a story Page Six posted Monday (Nov. 26), a group of veterans are not happy that Jim Jones, Cam'ron, Juelz and Freekey Zekey made their grand entrance on stage while rocking full military dress blues complete with an assortment of authentic medals and ribbons.

“I get performance art, and if you want to wear camo or a [costume] uniform, I have no problem," an insider told Page Six. "But if you’re wearing medals and ribbons, it’s crossing a line.”

Although some veterans are fuming at the thought of the "Sauce Boyz" set, other vets chimed in with their support for the Diplomatic Ties rappers. Yesterday (Nov. 27), Jones posted a photo to Instagram from their show while rocking uniforms, medals and ribbons from the Army, Navy and Air Force. Veterans of all branches and rankings who were bothered by their outfits went off in the comment, yet other veterans expressed their total support for The Diplomats.

“The military uniform is not worn by regulation on movies nor tv shows!! I’m a Vet been rockin with Dip Set the whole time I served!!,” said one user while another said, “I’m a veteran and I approve this.”
