I met Cedric Mclean the other day at Pizza Hut.

He introduced himself as the committee chairman and told me about the Mid Texas Corvette Club.

He seemed excited to tell me about all they have done in the community, and I see why!

The Mid Texas Corvette Club started over 20 years in Killeen from their love of Corvettes.

They have over 50 members and are comprised of retired soldiers that range from law enforcement to government workers.

Recently, they have held food drives at The Mission Soup Kitchen that donated 5 pickup trucks of non perishable food.

On Memorial Day their car show raised over $3000 for Battered Women, they have also held toy drives for children of Battered Women.
