The fact that two drunk Australian guys in shorts and flip-flops stopped a robbery would make an interesting story alone, but it was when they gave the most stereotypicaly Aussie interview of all time that it became the stuff of legend.

Our heroes, James Ross-Munroe and Kane Wiblen, were hanging out in the parking lot of a burger joint after leaving a party when they noticed men with shirts around their faces robbing a clerk. James sprang into action and grabbed the keys out of their getaway car's ignition. He then chased the perps down the street, and it was all caught on video by Kane.

Their video from that night racked up over a million views on YouTube, so they were invited to appear for a morning interview on Australia Today. The combination of the two men's undeniably deep Australian accents and the slang they threw around was just too much for the Today hosts, who lost their composure just moments after the interview began.

It took some Googling on this ignorant American's part to figure out what a "busted pluggah" is (it's a broken flip-flop), but there was one quote from James that I could clearly make out and that most of us can certainly relate to: "The only gym I go to is Jim Beam."

Check out Kane's video and the Today interview below, but be warned: The robbery video contains some adult language that even those Aussie accents can't obscure.
