Waco Police arrested a man who dragged one officer and knocked down another officer with a squad car!

Waco Police and the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force were attempting to serve David Becerra, who had outstanding warrants for two felony thefts and a burglary, according to KXXV! Officer located Becerra, who was out on bond for a recent robbery charge. He then made threats and told police that he would not go back to jail. Police removed a few people from the home at 2709 Cole and as they tried to remove Becerra, who then ran away.

Officers chased him back to the house, where he tried to steal a police vehicle at the home. When police tried to remove Becerra from the squad car, he put the vehicle in gear, which resulted in the dragging one officer and knocking down a second officer. It took multiple taser shots and a baton to get Becerra, who was high on meth, under control! He's now been charged with two counts of assault on a police officer, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading on foot and resisting arrest.
