There needs to be more peace and love shared in this world. After what has happened so far this year both in the United States and across the oceans, people of all races with different beliefs need to come together. The more we as a people unite, the stronger an adversary we become to terror and hate.

So that's why we are trying to get the word out for an event called "We Are the World", which is scheduled to be held at Miller Park in Temple, TX this Sunday at 3 p.m.

Nina Moore out of Killeen and her friend Wendy Millian out of Whitney, TX are trying to publicize a project that will show the entire world that communities can come together. The event will be live streamed on Facebook in order to get other cities all over the world to do the same thing.

Already it's been reported that hundreds of people are planning to head to Miller Park on Sunday in order to hold hands and belt out the song "We are the World", by The Next Generation.

Please come out to support the unity of all of us on Sunday, July 17 at Miller Park in Temple. Bring your family and friends to sing along. Beverages will be provided to help keep everyone nice and cool.
