White House Claims Government Shutdown Won’t Effect Tax Refunds

If you've been stressing about the government shutdown because you were worried about not being able to file your taxes I have some good news for you.

The White House has released a statement stating tax refunds will still go out. This will be the first time that something like that has happen so who knows how the process will play out.

According to sources the IRS has yet to release a filing start day but the due date is still the same as of right now (April 15th).
