Nearly three months after the tragic shooting death of XXXTentacion,Trayvon Newsome, Robert Allen, Dedrick Williams and Michael Boatwright, four suspects indicted for the murder of the rapper, entered a Broward County courtroom to get their fingerprints and DNA swabs taken yesterday (Sept. 5).

As reported by ABC's local Ft. Lauderdale news affiliate, lawyers for Boatwright, Allen and Williams protested the motion to have their clients' fingerprints taken. Their argument was that fingerprints of three suspects had already been taken, and they highlighted the fact that their clients' rights were protected against "any illegal search or seizure."

In the end, Judge Michael Usan decided to allow the state to take the fingerprints of Boatwright, Allen, Williams and Newsome. Newsome's attorney never objected to the state's motion in the first place.

Newsome, Allen, Williams and Boatwright have all been indicted for their alleged role in the June 18 robbery of and subsequent killing of XXXTentacion, who was only 20 at the time of his death. Police believe Newsome and Boatwright were the two gunmen, noting their belief that Boatwright was the one who actually fired the shot. Williams is believed to have been the getaway driver in the assault.
